Diner Worker Killed in Bizarre Kitchen Incident

ARBORVILLE, CALIFORNIA — Authorities are investigating the bizarre death of a local diner employee after what began as a routine problem with a clogged kitchen sink turned into something witnesses are struggling to explain.

The employee, identified as George, had reportedly gone into the kitchen of the Tick Tock Diner to investigate a backed-up sink.

Minutes later, screams brought several people rushing into the kitchen.

What they say they saw has left police with one very unusual investigation.

Witnesses told authorities that George appeared to be trapped in the sink, with part of his body somehow being pulled down into the drain.

Several people reportedly tried to help him.

They couldn’t.

By the time the ordeal was over, witnesses say George had been pulled farther into an opening that should have been physically impossible for a human body to enter.

Police initially questioned whether machinery beneath the sink could have caused the incident, but witnesses insist this was no ordinary kitchen accident.

They claim something inside the drain was pulling him in.

Exactly what that “something” might have been is another matter.

Investigators have found no person beneath the sink and no obvious piece of equipment capable of producing what the witnesses described.

That leaves authorities with several shaken witnesses telling essentially the same story:

A man reached into a clogged restaurant sink.

Something grabbed him.

And it wouldn’t let go.
