MAN FOUND BURIED IN SAND ALONG SHORELINE
By Staff Reporter
Police are investigating the death of Richard Vickers, 52, whose body was discovered at low tide buried upright to the neck in wet sand outside his oceanfront estate. Investigators believe the incoming tide led to drowning, though how Vickers came to be buried remains unclear.
A police spokesperson noted Vickers’ face was locked in what they described as “a defiant grin,” as if challenging the sea itself.
